Rachel Hall Sutterfield, age 93, stepped into heaven March 22, 2018 in Oklahoma City. She was born October 4, 1924 to Paul and Lena Heidebrecht in McPherson, Kansas. She married James Hall on July 9, 1940. She later married Calvin Sutterfield on February 14, 2003. Rachel enjoyed reading her Bible, talking on the phone and family get-togethers. She always started her day by praying for others by name. Rachel was preceded in death by her husbands; James Hall and Calvin Sutterfield; and son, Thomas Hall. Survivors include her children; Jim Hall, Larry (Kay) Hall, Bob (Joyce) Hall, Judy Westmoreland, Bill (Julie) Hall, Barbara (Mike) Smith, Dave (Debi) Hall, Donna (Brian Sloan) Woodward; honorary daughter, Joyce (Russ) Mayer; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday 11am-9pm with family present 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany. Funeral service will be 10am Monday, March 26 at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 3100 N. Rockwell, with interment to follow in Bethany Cemetery.
