Phyllis Jean Houston, 83, died December 2, 2013 in OKC. She was born December 30, 1929 in Emporia, KS to William W. and Jessie Mary (Frederick) Smith. She married Lawrence J. Houston on June 17, 1949 in Tulsa, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Melvin and Howard Smith. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence; children, Joyce Peterson of OKC, Marvin Houston and wife Linda of Kingfisher, OK, Luetta Milbrandt and husband Neil of Carrollton, TX, and Jean Lovett and husband Randall of Temecula, CA; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 11, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in the Kansas Cemetery, Piedmont, OK. Memorials may be made to Central Christian College of Kansas, P.O.
