Phillip Wayne Bynum, 74, was born to Camela Hendricks ("C.H.") and Stella Nadine Bynum in Oklahoma City, OK. He lived in Montgomery, TX and died on April 18, 2021 in The Woodlands, TX surrounded by his loving family. He attended the University of Oklahoma and was a lifelong Sooner fan as well as a part-time Cowboy fan for his son.
Phil was an accomplished professional and entrepreneur. He owned and managed multiple automobile dealerships, including Bynum Motors. In his retirement, he enjoyed the Houston Astros and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved and lived for his family.
Phil enjoyed watching sporting events, golf, travel, boating, spending time with his family as often as possible, and dog-sitting for all the family dogs: Prissy, Harper, Kenzie, and Snowflake.
He was preceded in death by parents, C.H. and Nadine Bynum along with multiple loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Sue; son, Kevin Mark Bynum and wife Amy Elizabeth; and granddaughter, Sophia-Kate Bynum.
Graveside services to celebrate his life will be Thursday, May 20 at 9:00 am in Bethany Cemetery.
