Phil Gordon Albers, 67, died June 25, 2012 in Bethany, OK. He was born August 16, 1944 in Port Arthur, TX, the son of Richard Henry and Ida Bernice (Radusch) Albers. He retired from ATT/Lucent. Phil married Veltia A. Thompson on Aug. 25, 1999 in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Veltia; son, Alex Albers and wife Chade Nash of OKC; daughter, Stacey Bjorklund and husband Scott of OKC; sister, Diane Messuri and husband Phil of Albuquerque, NM; grandson, Erik Bjorklund; step-son, Michael Thompson of OKC; step-daughter, Charlotte Cross and husband Robin of OKC; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Carly, Niki and Jamie Cross, Michael and Tisha Thompson. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm with the family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 28, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 N.
