Peter Erich Schmitz, Pete, of Edmond, Oklahoma was born March 28, 1956 in Schwalbach, West Germany. He died April 5, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pete was preceded in death by his mother Siegelinde Endres-Hatfield. He is survived by his three children: Kurt Erich Schmitz of Tulsa, Jessica and Kevin Collins of Garland, Texas and John-Michael Lorin Schmitz of Oklahoma City; all from his 30 year union to their mother Tanesa Schmitz; along with his fiance, Ashley Gammon, and her son Austin, of Edmond He is also survived by his father Erich Paul Schmitz and siblings: Ursula & Mike Reed and JoAnne & Cary Snyder, granddaughters Catie and Krisslyn of Garland, Texas, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
