Penny Diane McBride was born June 18, 1944 in Long Beach, CA, the daughter of Katherine Titus. In 1945, Penny made her way to Del City, OK. On October 19, 1962, Penny married her soul mate and love of her life, Derral McBride. Derral was a Del City Firefighter. Penny honored and respected the fire department so much that she, Sharon Tollison, and numerous women of the Del City Fire Department organized The Del City Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She proudly served this auxiliary for over 10 years. Penny is survived by her husband of 50 years, Derral McBride Sr. of OKC; daughter, Tammy McBride of OKC; son, Derral McBride Jr. and his wife Yvonne of Bixby OK; granddaughter, Torrie Difiglia of San Diego, CA; grandson, DeWayne McBride and wife Amber of Broken Arrow, OK; granddaughter, Melani Gotcher and husband Danny of OKC; and great-granddaughter, Keeley McBride. Penny left us to be with our Lord and Savior on January 25, 2013. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK.
