Peggy Joyce Viera, our heart, 75, died January 6, 2012 in OKC. She was born March 2, 1936 in San Bernardino, CA to Ira and Rilla (Vanscheyver) Knott. She was a former resident of Baxter Springs, KS. She married Joseph A. Viera on Sept. 12, 1969 in San Jose, CA. She was preceded in death by one son, Charlie Richard Barnett and one daughter, Debbie Lagore. Survivors include her husband, Joseph; 2 sons, Carl M. Barnett of New York City, Thomas Barnett of Berkley, CA; daughter, Sherry Dugger of OKC; granddaughter, Jamie Dugger; and grandsons, Joe and John Legore. Private family services will be held.
