Obituary

Peggy Jean Rose was born in Littlefield, Texas on June 18, 1930 and returned to Heavenly Father on August 15, 2012. Peggy married the love of her life Dallas Lawrence Rose on July 4, 1947 in San Diego, CA. They moved to OK in 1954 and lived happily together for 61 years. Peggy was in the aviation club, honor society, and learned to love singing at a very young age. She enjoyed working with her hands by crocheting, knitting, and sewing dresses for her family. Peggy was employed by a CPA in OK for over eight years. Peggy was preceded in death by her loving spouse Dallas, her father Alton Lee, a brother Alton Lee Jr., and a sister Maxine White. She is survived by her mother Ernestine (Sally) Lee of Santa Cruz, CA; Aunt Katherine Clark and Aunt Dorothy Lee of TX; daughter Debra Ann Kuykendall and her husband H.G. Kuykendall Jr.; daughter Jana Lee Allen and her husband Dr. Mark J. Allen; daughter Alisa Kay Craig and her husband John R. Craig all of whom reside in OK; son Dallas Randell Rose and his wife Tracye Lynn Rose of OH; sister-in-law Avalon Baker of Las Vegas, NV; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a dear friend to all those that knew her and was uplifting to those who surrounded her. She made many friends during her stay in Epworth Villa during her last year. Peggy is a strong spirit who through her faith was an excellent example to everyone who encountered her in this lifetime. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missionary Fund LDS Church, c/o Lyle Clemens, 5020 NW 63rd, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
