Peggy Jean Escritt, 68 years old, passed away on July 3, 2021 after a yearlong battle against COVID-19 and its complications. Peggy was born to Anna Marie and LeMoyne Baker in Auburn, Nebraska on July 21, 1952. Her family moved to Oklahoma in 1958. Peggy is now with Jesus visiting her mom and dad, and her brother, Jerry. She will be missed by Warren, her husband of 22 years; Michelle Bouziden, her daughter and Bailey Abney, her grandson; Joshua Bouziden, her son and Curan Jasbeck, her grandson; Jeremiah Bouziden, her son; Christian Escritt, her son and Anthony Escritt, her son; Mary Ann Hansen, her "Favorite Sister" and Mary Anns children, Randy and Alyssa; Carol Baker, her sister-in-law and Jerry and Carols children, Jayla and Kaycee; Janet and Lawrence Baker and Lawrences children, Lori, Rebecca and Robert; Brenda and Charles Baker and their children, Tiffany and Emily. Peggy will be happily remembered by her many great nieces and nephews. Peggy loved, cared for, and supported all of us and tried to include everyone. She wanted to be a part of all our lives. Peggy had a big heart. She was best friends with both her mother and her daughter. Peggy and Warren opened their home and hearts to over 50 foster boys and they were blessed by adopting two of their foster sons. Peggy was active in Putnam City Schools. Peggy went to many of the boys school events and acted as home room mom and substitute teacher. Peggy was "Grandma Peggy" to everyones children in the neighborhood, school and anywhere she went. Peggy had a smile for everyone she met and will be greatly missed. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 10, 1:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel. .
