Pauline Ellen (Anderson) Beasler, 100, peacefully went to rest in the arms of Jesus, Saturday July 11, 2020 in her home in Bethany, OK with her daughter, Ruth, by her side. Pauline was born September 8, 1919 in Urbana, Missouri to parents, Elvin and Maude (Adams) Anderson. At the age of three her family moved to Shamrock, Oklahoma and later to Kendrick, Oklahoma, where she spent her childhood.
On June 23, 1935, she married her beloved husband, Rev. L.A. Beasler, after meeting at a Revival where he was preaching, and she was singing in the choir. The two were married for 71 years before he passed, June 5, 2007. They had three wonderful children: Lawrence (Larry) Beasler, Ruth A Hinshaw, and Herman (Jack) Beasler. They raised their children in Kendrick, and all over Oklahoma as L.A. preached in the Church of the Nazarene until finally landing in Bethany, OK in 1958.
Pauline was a loving homemaker and "Preacher's Wife." She was a classy lady with a fun-loving spirit, contagious laugh, and she had an incredible gift of hospitality. She was known for some of her beautiful readings in the church, as she made an impact on many lives and was a true friend to so many. Being a lover of people, her home was an open door where she made everyone feel welcome. Her love for her family was infectious, and her home-cooking was out of this world. She was quick witted, young at heart, and was always just a phone call away for so many of us. Her love for the Lord was evident, and the wisdom and knowledge of knowing His word brought peace and comfort to many.
She gifted us with memories we will all cherish forever and will be deeply missed. But we all know one of her deepest desires was to be with the Lord.
Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. L.A. Beasler, her parents, Elvin and Maude Anderson, her brother, Garland Anderson, her sisters, Bonnie Custer and Maxine Kautz, and her beloved sons, Lawrence (Larry) Beasler and Herman (Jack) Beasler.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth A Hinshaw, niece: Donna Beene; grandchildren: Karen Patterson and husband James, Penni Freeman and husband Keith, Denny Hinshaw and wife Cindy, Brent Beasler, Summer Seaborg and husband Brian, Shannelle Combs and husband Justin; great-grandchildren: Dustin, Kristi, John David, Denice, Kristin, Kelsey, Kiley, Grant, Baylor, Brooklyn, Bella, Boston, Myia, Cross, Jacklin, Lana; and many great-great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to Apex Hospice for their loving care for Pauline during her last days here. Caregivers: Rolanda, Lorrie, Susan, Melody, Jennifer, Carrie, and Kali.
