Paul E. Scott, age 90, died August 21, 2018 in Yukon, OK. He was born November 9, 1927 in Terre Haute, IN to Virgil and Mary Catherine (Mindrup) Scott. Paul married Jean Farnham on June 9, 1951 in Terre Haute, IN. He served in the Counterintelligence Corp of the US Army. He was employed with Travelers Indemnity Co. and retired as a Sr. Vice President of Commercial Lending with Liberty National Bank, OKC. A longtime Red Cross volunteer, he was recognized and received an award for his professional handling of calls the day of the Murrah Bombing and throughout the event. He also volunteered at Baptist Hospital. Paul was preceded in death by one brother, John Scott. Survivors include his loving wife, Jean; 4 children, Barbara Scott and John Sonderegger, Michael Scott and wife Donna, David Scott and Dawn Robbins, and Steven Scott and wife Laura; brother, Dr. Robert Scott and wife Harriet; sister, Rosann Campbell and husband Russ; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Scott. Paul and Jean were especially fond of their extended family which includes 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to The Center of Family Love, 635 Texas Ave, Okarche, OK 73762.
