His humor and caring spirit will be sorely missed. Paul graduated from Central High School in 1949, and proudly served his country as a Marine in the Korean War. He retired from the Postal Service, after more than 30 years, where his patrons became his friends. He was a Life member of Oklahoma City Elks Lodge 417, and a member of the Sooner Detachment of the Marine Corps League. The family would like to thanks the staff of Deaconess Hospital, CCU 3-East for their kind and compassionate care. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, St. Charles School Endowment, or charity of your choice. Prayer service will be Tuesday, March 30, 7:00 pm, and Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, March 31, 10:00 am, both at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Oklahoma City, where Paul & Mary have been members since 1961. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Pauls final statement: I loved my wife Mary, I loved my children and their spouses, I loved my grandchildren, I loved my great grandson Connor, I loved my brothers and sisters, I loved my Lord and my St. Charles family and friends, I loved Elkdom and all my Elk brothers and sisters, and Oh how I loved my Marine Corps.
