Paul Edward Moon was born on October 2, 1945, in Blanchard, OK to Louie and Ethel Moon. He passed away on July 17, 2026, in Oklahoma City.

Paul grew up in Bethany, OK and graduated from Bethany High School in 1963. On June 1, 1965, he married the love of his life, Linda Gail McClure-Moon. Together they built a life with their children, Michael and Mitchell.

Paul served in the United States Army from April 7, 1966 - March 17, 1968. He dedicated 45 years to the Daily Oklahoman (Oklahoma Publishing Company) and retired in 2008. In January of 1986 he earned his barber license and opened Paul's Barber and Style Shop in 1987 and closed in the fall of 1991. After retirement, he and Linda spent time together traveling and camping.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Ethel Moon; wife, Linda McClure-Moon; brother, Louie Moon; and sister, LaNelle Drumeller. Survivors include his sons, Michael (Cynthia) Moon and Mitchell (Jennifer) Moon; grandchildren, Ryan Moon and Amanda Moon; and great-grandchild, Colt Fletcher.

Viewing at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service is Wednesday, July 22 from 9am-8pm with family present from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 10:00am, on Thursday, July 23, 2026, with interment following in Bethany Cemetery.
