Paul Harvey Forgue was born in Oklahoma City on March 28, 1923 to Harvey Paul Forgue and Ruby Valina Yarneau. He passed from this life on July 13, 2017 at the age of 94. Paul graduated from Central High School in 1941. He joined the US Army as an air cadet on November 20, 1944 and was discharged on July 28th, 1946. Paul worked for Voss, Western Gillett and Roadway trucking companies as a diesel mechanic. He married Betty Jane O'Daniel on June 25, 1947 in the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. Paul and Betty had five children. They lived all their lives in Oklahoma City. Betty passed away in 2013 after they had been married for 66 years. He was a man of God and loved traveling to places to advance his faith. He was also fun loving and he and Betty square danced and traveled around the country vacationing with their family. He is survived by his sons, Daniel Forgue and wife Jean and Kevin Forgue and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Jeremy Forgue, Micah Forgue, Kristi Forgue, Brian Fonville, Kelly Eldridge, Tyler Totten and Nicole Totten; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Cynthia Kay Totten and Mary Susan Fonville, and son, Michael Paul Forgue. Prayer service will be at Mercer-Adams on Wednesday, July 19th at 5pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, July 20th at the Church of the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church.
