Obituary

Patsy Lou Dell (Jeffrey) Mitscher, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, in her hometown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Born on October 4, 1935, in Oklahoma City, Patsy lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family. A proud graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, she carried a deep appreciation for learning and a gracious, compassionate spirit that guided her throughout her life.

Patsy was married to the love of her life, Tom Mitscher, for 64 years. Together, they created a loving home and built a legacy of strength, unity, and enduring affection.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sharon Bush of Pueblo, Colorado; Diane McQuigg of Laguna Woods, California; and Cyndi Garcia of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; as well as her son-in-law, Conrad Garcia of Oklahoma City. Patsy was the beloved grandmother of eight, great-grandmother of twelve, and great-great-grandmother of six.

She is also survived by her siblings, Carolyn Daniels of Oklahoma City, Dorothy Allen of Arcadia, Oklahoma, Larry Jeffrey of Oklahoma City, and Russ Jeffrey of Dallas, Texas; and by her sister-in-law, Deborah Jeffrey of Oklahoma City.

Patsy will be remembered for her gentle nature, her quiet strength, and her unwavering love for her family. She touched countless lives with her kindness and her deep faith.

Viewing at Mercer-Adams will be Thursday, 9am-8pm with family present from 4-7pm. A celebration of Patsy's life will be held at 10:00am on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
