Patsy "Pat" Beck passed away November 20, 2022. She was born July 29,1941 in Okemah, OK to hard working farmers, Fred and Ruby Daniel. After graduating from Broken Bow High School, she completed her bachelors degree in education at Bethany Nazarene College, in Oklahoma, where she met her husband, DeLos "Dee" Beck. They stayed in Bethany after college and together were active contributing their time and talents to the Nazarene church and community of Bethany. Pat taught Math at Western Heights Jr. High, Bethany Jr./Sr. High, Putnam City North and Putnam City West High schools. There she was able to touch so many of her students' lives with her excellent talent for teaching as well as her passion for listening, truly caring and counseling those whom she could sense needed help. She enjoyed being the Senior Sponsor for these schools. She also sang in the church choir most of her life. Pat later completed her masters degree in communications from Southern Nazarene University. After retiring from her long teaching career, she served on the Bethany City Council, volunteered as sponsor for the church youth group, and joined the SNU Benchwarmers. She moved to a memory care community in Dana Point, CA in her last 6 years of life to be close to her daughter, Terri Smith. Pat is survived by her daughter, Terri (Beck) Smith and husband Greg Smith of Laguna Beach, CA; brother, Fred Daniel and his wife Lou of Yukon, OK; her nephew, James Daniel and his wife Tammie of Oklahoma City, OK; and several cousins. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-8pm with family present from 5:30-6:30pm at Mercer-Adams.
