Patricia Kathleen Singley, age 81, died peacefully on February 2nd, 2017. Pat was born January 21st, 1936 in Guthrie, Oklahoma, the daughter of Pete and LaVada Kimbler.
Patricia graduated from Northeast High School in 1954. The very next day she started her career at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in the Anatomy Department. Before retiring in 1991, she had many great achievements including the Regents Award for Superior Staff, employee of the month, and she headed many committees and was widely known and adored as Pat in Anatomy.
Pat then went on to partner with the love of her life, Robert Singley, working from home as CEO of PK Consultants.
Pats favorite pastimes included attending church, reading, cooking, entertaining and painting. Her passion was her family and friends. She loved spending time with those closest to her. She devoted her life in to making sure that everyone around her knew how special they were and did everything she could to help them achieve their goals.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, son, Kris, as well as 2 brothers, 1 sister, and both parents.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Tracy Yarberry and husband Michael; sister, Joann Merrill and husband Bob; 3 grandchildren, Jarrod Friedel, Nicole Azadpour and husband Izad, Rachael Gannon and husband Cody; and 5 great-grandchildren, Alex, Corbin, Austin, Axton and Charley. She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, as well as her beloved companions, Boomer and Tuffy.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Warwick Eden Care Home in Oklahoma City and Humanity Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Pats name to The Bridge Church, Mustang, OK and the University of Oklahoma Foundation so that her legacy can live on.
