Patricia Lee Maxey, age 87, joined her family in heaven on November 8, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born in Tuttle, OK on March 14, 1930 to Erbie Hutchison and Hazel Stevens Hutchison. Patricia was the oldest of 6 children. She married the love of her life, James Maxey, Sr. in 1948. They enjoyed 57 years together before his death in 2005. Patricia and Jim had 3 children, James Maxey, Jr., Carla Hambrick and Danny Maxey, all of OKC. Patricia was the co-founder/owner of Maxeys Cycle in OKC for 55 years. She worked in the family business alongside her husband as secretary/treasurer for 40 years. After her retirement she enjoyed motorcycle trips with her husband, traveling the US in her motor home and after Jims death, she traveled abroad on numerous occasions. Patricia belonged to Red Buds motor home club and was a member of the Red Hats Society, Daughters of the Nile and Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and could be found at the pool swimming with them almost daily, or cooking numerous meals for all her children.
