Patricia Louise Hendrix went to her eternal home on June 24, 2021. Patricia was born to M.L. and Altha Mae White in Mead, Oklahoma on May 10, 1927. Patricia met the love of her life, Paul Hendrix, at Bethany Peniel College in 1946. They were married on August 3, 1947 and celebrated 60 years of marriage. Patricia worked as a sales associate for many years at the Bethany Book Store, a Christian bookstore. She enjoyed her work managing the music department. She taught childrens Sunday School class for many years at Pennsylvania Avenue Church of the Nazarene. After retirement, she used her sewing talent making beautiful quilts by hand. She was featured on "Is This a Great State or What" for making over 350 quilts for the Childrens Center and Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany, Oklahoma. Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Paul Ray Hendrix. She is survived by her two daughters, Paula Merrill and husband, Mark of Sacramento, CA and Pamela Faust and husband Shelby of Bethany, OK; four grandchildren, Brandon Chafey and wife, Melissa, Sacramento, CA, Brady Chafey and wife, Gretchen, Blanchard, OK, Kim Jones and husband, Paul, Bethany, OK and Dustin Faust and wife, Audra, Bethany, OK; blessed with eight great-grandchildren, Cameron, Caitlin, Scarlett, Trapper, Porter, Cub, River and Hendrix; sister, Lynn Poole, Bethany, OK; brother, M.L. White, Franklin, TN; and loved nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Monday 8am-8pm with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. A celebration of her life will be held at Mercer-Adams Chapel on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 11:00 am with interment following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
