Pansie
Manners
May 19, 1945 — Feb 25, 2025
Pansie Manners, 79, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on May 19, 1945, to Delmar Cochran and Francis (Gill) Cochran in Rocky Ford, Colorado. She married James F. Manners on November 29, 1963, in Manzanola, Colorado.
Pansie retired from Southern Nazarene University as a Secretary/Office Manager after 30 years of service. Pansie enjoyed her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Until allergies drove her inside, she liked gardening and flowers. If she had access to a working power mower her husband didn't have to mow the lawn, he just had to keep the mower working. She taught children's Sunday School classes in most of the churches she attended. She was a caring person who would occasionally rush to help someone without regard for her own safety.
Pansie was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Violet Grossman and Iona Neel.
She is survived by her husband, James F. Manners; sons, James R. Manners and Michael D. Manners; sister, Ruby Pearson; 5 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed. A Memorial service will be held Monday, March 3 at 2:00 pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service.
