Pamela Jane Gibson passed from this life on March 20, 2020 under the caring staff of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born on August 13, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to Howard and Jane (Selover) Gibson. Her family lived in St. Louis until moving to Oklahoma City in1964 when her dad was transferred to Oklahoma City to take a job with Lee Way Motor Freight.
Pam liked being one of the "FUN" aunts, spending time with her nieces and nephews and now great niece and nephews! She was a huge St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan and collected all sorts of Cardinal memorabilia! She would travel to St. Louis often to catch a ball game and visit relatives there. She enjoyed traveling, especially with her cousin, Diane Sesson of Archbold, OH when they toured Europe, Japan and Korea. In her spare time, Pam liked watching old movies and sports of nearly any kind and just hanging out with friends.
Working as a longtime employee of Dunkin Donuts, Pam was honored when she celebrated her 45th service anniversary at the same time the Oklahoma City Dunkin Donuts franchise was celebrating its 45th Birthday! She began working there in 1970 as a night shift finisher and was later promoted to manager. During her employment, she served several celebrities including Conway Twitty! Her boss said she was one of the best employees hes ever had, honest and hardworking.
Pam was a devout Catholic and an active member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She cared deeply for her church family, but recently had been unable to attend Mass due to health reasons. She strived to live her Catholic faith with daily prayer and reflection and by her example of her generosity, love and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy Gibson and brother Dennis Gibson of Oklahoma City and brother Richard Gibson of Wayne, Oklahoma. Survivors include her brother, Kevin Gibson of Oklahoma City; sister, Donna (Gibson) Roetker and husband Don of Piedmont, OK; as well as her sweet, loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many friends.
