Orlan L. Jones, 79, passed away Sunday, September 16 in Oklahoma City after a brief illness. He was born in Hugo, OK, July 31, 1933. He left Hugo to enlist in the army, and was honorably discharged in 1961. Afterward, he pursued a career in insurance administration with Aetna. He met his wife, Yvonne, to whom he was married until her death in 2009. They enjoyed many success-filled years as real estate brokers in OKC until retirement in 1997. He then spent many years as a volunteer at Deaconess Hospital. Orlan was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Elizabeth Jones, and his wife, Yvonne. Survivors include son, Grant; sisters, Nora Werbin, Elizabeth Grady, and Nella Jones; brothers, Dalton, Lynn and Wayne Jones. Orlan was a wonderful dad, and a person who will be missed by all.
