Ona "Lee" Gillow, 88, of Bethany, OK, went to be with our Lord, Friday morning, December 21st, 2018. She was born on January 6th, 1930 in Oklahoma City to Robert and Essie Winter.
"Lee" was preceded in death by her husband, Kelvin Gillow; their daughter, Leah Davis; six brothers, Wilmer Winter, Donald Winter, Robert Winter, Melvin Winter, Elda Winter, Virgil Winter; four sisters, Lela Loftin-Keys, Judy Baker, Lucille Weiss, Shirley Reeves.
She was a devout Christian and member of Victory church, and a homemaker. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting and drawing and had a small doll-making business at one point. She also loved bible study and family gatherings and absolutely adored her great grandchildren. She was such a loving and selfless woman and left no doubt of where she was headed in the afterlife. Even though we take joy in knowing she is at home and at peace with our father, she is going to be missed tremendously here on earth by us.
Lee is survived by her grandson, Adam Gillow and his wife Robyn; her great grandchildren, Colton Gillow and Kyndal Gillow; two sisters, Laura Bouda and Myrna Hinds; and many nieces, nephews and friends that will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany with pastor Jim Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
