Nova Baker Ledbetter, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010. Nova was born December 28, 1915, in Queen City, TX to John and Laura Baker. Nova was a graduate of Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK and taught in the public school systems in Texas and Kansas until her retirement. Nova is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Wilson Baker, Rab Baker and Cathryn Baker Dudney. She is survived by her youngest brother, Bill J. Baker and his wife Charlene; sister-in-law, Elaine Baker; nieces and nephews Sherry Dudney Bond (Richard); Glenda Dudney Blacklock (Wayne); Kay Dudney Wienecke (Steve); Monica Baker Thornburg (Larry); Dr. Marcia Baker; Dr. Claudia Osborn; Teresa Baker Layman (Michael), Steve Baker (Rita); Kipp Baker (Bonnie); Scott Baker (Karla); Susan Baker Wilson (Andy); 14 great nieces and nephews. Services will be held Mon., April 12, 2010, 2:00 pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, Bethany, with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
