Norman Reece Ray McBride, 88, of Oklahoma City, died Saturday, January 6, 2024. He was born September 8, 1935, in Geary, OK to Barney B. and Verna Faye (Wright) McBride. Norman married Sherry Elaine Raddis on September 22, 1971.

Norman and Sherry Attended Portland Avenue Baptist Church and Mayfield Baptist Church. He worked for Scrivner Foods as a truck driver for over 25 years. He also worked with his brother, Melvin, for many years as an auctioneer as a part of their duo, McBride Brothers Auctioneers.

Norman is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sherry; children, Roy McBride and wife, Cynthia, Sherrie Jo Ewing and husband, Mick, Debbie McBride, Mark Holloway and wife, Candi, Brenda McMahill and husband, Dave, Randy McBride, and Steve McBride; sisters, Doris Sechrist and husband, Dearl, and Barbara Vaughn; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Melvin McBride and wife Jo, and Glen McBride; and brother-in-law, Larry Vaughn.

Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm with family present from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Thursday, January 11 at Mercer-Adams Chapel He will be laid to rest in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Newalla, Oklahoma.
