Norman Henry Kobriger, 77, of Blanchard, died August 25, 2015. He was born December 4, 1937 in Ossian, Iowa to Frank and Clara (Uhlenhake) Kobriger. He attended Iowa State University and later became Manager at Sears Department Store. A member of Immanuel Conception Catholic Church, he enjoyed classic cars, bowling, traveling, and spending time on his acreage mowing and watching deer. He never met a stranger. Norman was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Karl. Survivors include his loving wife, Margie; daughter, J.J. Moore and husband Terry; son, Jim and wife Troyia; brothers, Harold and wife Joan, Kenneth and wife Marilyn; sisters, Diane Evenson, Karen Heckmann and husband Neil, Gladys Wilker and husband Fred; 5 grandchildren, Michael Kobriger, Michelle Bean, Julie Smart, Heather Jaques, and Tiffany Jaques-Brown; and 10 great-grandchildren. Rosary will be Thursday, 7:00pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 28, 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
