Norman E. Fabra, 79, died after a long illness on May 10, 2011. He was born on September 27, 1931 in Nevada, Missouri. He graduated from Central High School in 1950. At that time he was in the Marine Reserves and was called to serve in Korea. He was given a Purple Heart for bravery. After his discharge he graduated from Oklahoma City University with a B.S. degree in Management & Marketing. He was a manufacturing representative for West Bend Company and later Maybelline Eye Cosmetics. The last 20 years he was Assistant Manager & Buyer for Boltons Hardware. Mr. Fabra was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary; sister, Doris Thomas & husband John of Moore, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Carol Ann Crowell of Oklahoma City and Ruby Mersman of Oklahoma City; nephews, Duane Mersman & wife Karen of Oklahoma City, Steve Thomas & wife Sherry of Midwest City, and Keith Thomas of Moore; nieces, Sharon Mullette of Texas, Linda Boller & husband Harry of Colorado. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2121 N. Portland, Oklahoma City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Friday, May 13, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
