Norma Faye Brooks December 22, 1922-April 3, 2012 Norma Faye Brooks, 89, arrived in heaven on April 3, 2012. Although born and raised in Waurika, Oklahoma, she called Bethany home for more than sixty years. Being a wife to Horace for almost 68 years and a mother to Judy and Peggy kept her life busy. She was an excellent cook who often shared her dishes with family and friends. Her sons-in-law, David and Bill, especially loved her pies! Granddaughters, Suzanne and Shannon and their husbands, Aron and Steve, made her the proud great-grandmother of seven! Faye enjoyed helping others in need, traveling, reading, cooking and music. She played a number of instruments and had a lovely singing voice. We want to thank the staff of Elmcroft Assisted Living Center for lovingly caring for her during the past 1 years since the passing of her beloved husband. Also, we appreciate all the family members and friends who made it a point to keep in touch with her during that time. We will miss her and her shining example of generosity, perseverance through challenging circumstances, ready wit, and discernment. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, at Mercer Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, Oklahoma.
