Nora Roberta (Dorris) Hibbert, age 79, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 11 after a long illness. Roberta was born at Choctaw, Oklahoma on August 10, 1929 to Walter and Beulah (Blakley) Dorris. She graduated from Bethany High School in 1947 and attended Bethany Peniel College. Her first major employment was as manager of Pettys Hardware Store in Warr Acres. Roberta married Millard Hibbert on August 27, 1954. She is survived by son Billy James Hibbert and his wife Sheila of Atlanta, Georgia, son Bobby Lee Hibbert and his wife Mary of Bethany, and a daughter Peggy Eileen Hibbert of Bethany. Roberta has four surviving siblings. They and their spouses are: Robert Ward Dorris, Roy Lee Dorris and wife Rebecca (Wachtel), Curtis Neal Dorris and wife Sandra (Willems), and Harold Eugene Dorris and wife Marjorie (Isabell), all of Bethany. She was the proud grandmother of three grandchildren, Ivy Marie Hibbert and Holly Lachelle (Hibbert) Sweetman from Atlanta, William Richard Hibbert of Bethany; and many nieces and nephews. Family visitation will be at Mercer-Adams on Wednesday January 14th from 5 to 7 pm. Services will be at 2:30pm on Thursday, January 15th at Calvary Church of the Nazarene in Bethany, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery.
