With deepest sorrow, we announce that Nathan Cody, our beloved 42-year-old son, passed away Tuesday, January 29, from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Nathan will be missed every day by his Father and Mother, Steve and Racinda Ross; brother, Jeremy Cody; sisters, Brynn Ross and Brogan Pfeifer; brother-in-law, Chris Pfeifer; niece, Lynnon Pfeifer; aunt, Laura Vance; nieces, Bailey and Madison Butler; grandparents, Dub and Dorothy Ross; uncles, Mike (Deann), Jerry (Tammy) and Scott (Susan) Ross; many nieces and nephews; and last but not least, his best friend since the 4th grade, Todd Brown.
Also survived by Steve and Karen Cody, Kyra (Erik) Jansen, Kallahan Jansen and Jonathan Cody.
After being lovingly received by Nanny and PoPo, Lauretta and Chester Vance, as well as dogs Ling Ross, Rader Cody, and Chanel Ross, we have no doubt that Nate proceeded to tear heaven up with his good friend, Cash Chrisman. Together again.
Nathan had a huge heart, a larger than life personality, and could always be counted on no matter what. The truth in this statement is evidenced by the plethora of life-long friends who stuck by him, loved him and took care of him day in and day out.
Friendship isnt about who youve known longest. Its about who walked into your life, said, "Im here for you" and proved it.
Born a winner. Died a winner.
