Nancy Jo Young was born June 21, 1939 in Memphis, TN to Malcomb and Ruby (Hattle) Norwood and joined her Lord on December 29, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. She married Lynn Thomas Young, Sr. on November 14, 1957. She was retired from the City of Purcell where she was court clerk and code enforcement secretary. Nancy was an active member of Springdale Baptist Church and loved the Lord. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and traveling in their motor home. Spending time with her grandchildren was the joy of her life. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Lynn Thomas Young, Jr., and Terry Dean Young. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lynn Thomas Young, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Nancy Charlene Young; brother, Greg Norwood; grandchildren, Tobie and husband Blair, Cindy and husband Matt, Angelica and husband Craig and Lynn Thomas Young III; great-grandchildren, Harlee, Kilie, Linkoln, Neeley, Gwyneth, Collin, Shelby and Sydney; great great grandchild, Payzlee.
