Obituary

Nancy Lou White went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Her final days were spent with her loving family members.

Nancy was born June 7, 1954, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to parents Thomas Earle Willson, and Alice Cleo (Clarke) Willson. She was an only child, but by the time she was seven, both parents had died. She grew up living with various relatives until finally settling in Oklahoma City, living with her cousin. She was a graduate of Comanche High School, and had several jobs after coming to Oklahoma City, but then went to work for AT&T/Southwestern Bell as a drafting clerk, and was later promoted to a supervisory position in the Drafting Department. She remained employed there until 2006, then retired due health issues.

Nancy was one of those rare persons who immediately made friends with everyone she came into contact with – there were no strangers when she was around, and the room was always lit up by her friendly, caring personality. In 1980, she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and began a spiritual journey that lasted through her final days on earth, but is gloriously continuing on after her passing. She married that same year, and had a son in 1991 from that marriage.

She is survived by her son, John White, and many cousins and others, including Barbara Bartlett, Tonia Watson, Tammie Littral, and Rhonda Brown.

At her request, there will be no Funeral services; however, a family memorial is later planned.
