Nancy Neely
Stockton
May 5, 1939 — Apr 16, 2025
Nancy Neely Stockton was born in Charleston, West Virginia on May 5, 1939. Nancy and her daughters, Diana and Beth, made a trip to Oklahoma in 1965 which was going to be a short stay, but she stayed much longer. She did go home but it wasn't to West Virginia; she went home to see Jesus on April 16, 2025.
Nancy was a good piano player with wonderful musical talents. She was also a great designer/decorator and was always willing to arrange and decorate a friend's home because she loved to serve others.
While Nancy was attending college at Oklahoma City Community College to finish her degree, she got involved in Art History. She was a wonderful artist and began putting trips together for Oklahoma City Community College as well as Rose State College. She took students to Paris, Rome, London, Greece, and Austria for Art History.
Nancy loved to snow ski with her family and also enjoyed water skiing, camping at the lake and traveling. She had such a wonderful personality and always had a smile on her face. She had an extended family (Wipplinger family) in St. Wolfgang, Austria with whom she formed a friendship. She was very close to this family and traveled to St. Wolfgang many times.
Nancy's greatest love was for Jesus Christ and her almighty God. She attended Bethany First Church of the Nazarene with her family and always said, "God is so good to me." Next to God was her love for her husband and family. They loved her and she loved them. She traveled a lot with them to Europe, on ocean cruises, and to Disney World. She loved spending time on the beach with her grandchildren, and she taught them all about Jesus.
Nancy was born to Frank and Mary Kate Neely, and she had one brother, Joe. She had a good friend whose name is Bob and they remained good friends for 53 years. She and Bob became husband and wife on April 1, 1972 and they were still good friends. With that marriage, Nancy gained Bob's two daughters, Janice and Kathy.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Kate Neely; and brother, Joe Neely.
