Nancy Lee (White) Stange was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Ben and Sue White. She attended school in Midwest City, Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and Cameron University in Lawton, OK. She married Billy Joe Stange in Broken Arrow and they had one son, Justin. Nancy received training as a radiation tech and spent much of her life in healthcare-related positions, including working at hospitals in Tulsa and Lawton. She was a devoted, caring mother and an outgoing friend whose sparkling personality and determined faithfulness endeared her to many. She had a heart especially for those in need. Surgery as a teenager, which required a blood transfusion before testing for hepatitis was implemented, unfortunately carried unintended consequences which would later take a heavy toll on the last 25 years of her life, ending with a stroke from which she was unable to recover. Nancy is survived by her parents; son, Justin Stange and wife Rachelle; grandchildren, Saige, McKinlee and Layne of Mustang, OK; sister, Pam Sawyer and husband Ken of Tulsa, OK; 2 brothers, Greg White of OKC and Scott White and wife Joette of Dallas, TX; 10 nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be 5-8:30pm Friday, December 29 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany. No service is scheduled.
