Nancy Ann Lyon, 89, passed away July 23, 1923 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born February 3, 1934 to Harold and Ruth (Shedd) Zahorsky in Dacoma, OK. She graduated from Alva High School. Nancy married the love of her life, Eldon Lyon on September 6, 1953. They enjoyed 66 years together until his passing in 2019. She enjoyed gardening and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon Lyon; son, Michael Lyon; and sister Betty Angle. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Capps; son, Kevin Lyon and wife Karen; sister, Shirley Lane; grandchildren, Jameson Shadid and wife Lexy, Parker Shadid and wife Samantha, Michael Lyon, and Catherine Lyon; and great-grandchildren, Rowan Shadid, Sutton Shadid, Mila Shadid and Jack Shadid. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, July 28 in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association. .
