Nancy Ann Kling, 67, of Piedmont, OK, died Dec. 14, 2011 in OKC, OK following a lengthy illness. Her parents were Herman and Yula Riggs. She married Ray Kling on August 20, 1966. She received her BS from Butler University, Indianapolis, IN, MS from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, and PhD from the University of Oklahoma. She taught school for many years at Warm World PreSchool and Piedmont Elementary with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Survivors include her husband Ray; daughters, Rebecca (Jason) Knight, Beth (Doug) Ruby; 5 grandchildren that she adored Emily, Tanner, and Kelsey Knight, Madeline and Sophia Ruby; and sister, Susan (Colin) Crim. She was preceded in death by her parents. Nancy touched many lives through her love and teaching children. Her strength and faith in the face of a debilitating illness was inspiring. The family wishes to express their gratitude of thanks for the care received at the T.B. Lackey Manor Memory Care Unit. Memorial service will be Monday, Dec. 19, 10:00am at Piedmont United Methodist Church.
