Nancy Lynn Gripe, 75, died Friday, March 10, 2023 at her home. She was born November 17, 1947 in Thomas, OK to Jesse and Eileene (Campbell) Eyster. She held a bachelors degree from Oklahoma State University. A high school teacher, she taught Family and Consumer Sciences and loved her students as her own. Nancy married Ronald Lee Gripe, June 3, 1972, in Thomas, Oklahoma and they shared 50 wonderful years together. Nancy loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She gave her life to serve others and set an example for all around her. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon Blackburn; and brother, Gary Eyster. Survivors include her loving husband, Ron; daughters, Amanda Lile, and Kendra Crabtree and husband Tommy; grandchildren, Corbin, Baylee, Campbell, Sophie, Georgia, Davis, Caleb, Lily, Houston, Metek, Greyson, and Emmanuel; and best friend, Debbie Schritter. Nancys family wishes to thank her caregivers, Ruthie Walthall, Donna Newill, and Tammy Mickle, who have become family, for their steadfast and exceptional care over the course of her illness. Services will be Monday, March 13, 2:00pm at Council Road Baptist Church and will be live streamed. Interment will be in Yukon Cemetery. .
