Myrle, also affectionately known as Mom, Memaw, Meems and Mommo, departed this life on Dec. 10, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. Myrle was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne and son-in-law, Al Hussey. Myrle was deeply loved by her children, Lorie Summers of OKC, Valerie Hussey of Bethany, and Phil Summers (Leslie) of OKC. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Ryan Hussey (Catherine), Tyler Nguyen (Binh), and Mitchell and Ben Summers as well as two great-grandchildren, Eli and Amelia. Myrle was blessed by wonderful neighbors and dear friends with whom she played bridge for over 40 years. While we grieve Myrles passing, we are grateful for the many cherished memories. Those days of cheering on kids and grandkids at the ball fields or her many trips to watch ROTC meets, band concerts, marching competitions and golf tourneys or just loving on the littles are gone. We will treasure those memories that are stored forever in our hearts. Myrle will be laid to rest on Wed., Dec. 16th, 2020 at 1 pm (graveside service only) at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 700 SW 104th, OKC. .
