Mozelle White, 84, of Oklahoma City, passed away on Wed., June 15, 2011. She was born January 26, 1927 to DeWitt and Gonie Goodrich on a farm in Anson, Texas. Her first nine years she went to Pleasant Hills Country School and graduated from Anson High School in 1943 at age 16. During her lifetime she had several careers. She worked in the legal field, mortgage banking, and spent her last working years as President and Co-Owner of Merit Personnel, Inc. She retired in 1982 at age 55. She spent several years volunteering at N. McArthur Church of Christ, Deaconess Hospital, and for a local Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband, George B. White, who died in June, 2004. She is survived by 2 daughters, Starla Douglas, Kathy Bates and husband Matt; 4 grandchildren, Blake Lower and husband Corey, Cameron Douglas and wife Tuesday, Rhiannan Walker and husband Jason, Shawna Bates; and 3 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah and Sydney. Memorial service will be held on Sat., June 18, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK.
