Moya Elizabeth Dalrymple, 42, passed away at her home in Yukon, OK on June 3, 2023. She was born March 25, 1981, in Oklahoma City to Michael and Sheelagh (Payne) Wallace. Moya participated in cross country, basketball, track, and she played soccer for 23 years. She held a degree in Psychology from USAO in Chickasha. Moya was heavily involved in youth ministry, volunteering at Holy Name in Chickasha, OK, St. Gabriels in Port Orchard, WA, Christ the King in Jacksonville, FL, St. John Nepomuk in Yukon; and serving as Director of Youth Ministry at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jacksonville, FL. She and her husband, Anthony, were active members of St. John Nepomuk in Yukon, and Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. Moya enjoyed doing arts and crafts and spending time with friends. She loved her family and, especially, playtime with her granddaughter.
Moya is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Anthony; daughter, Miley Elizabeth Rose Appleby and husband Jonathan; granddaughter, Adalene Marie; brother, Sean Wallace and wife Tina Kirk; sisters, Michelle McCollum, Stefanie Wallace and wife Ashlea, Sheelagh Wallace, and Maureen Moore; brothers-in-law, Matthew Dalrymple and husband Scott Young, and Aaron Lay; sister-in-law, Michelle Lay; uncle, Steven Fox and wife Linda; nephews, Jason Wallace, Brent Young, Nicolaus Dalrymple Young, Zachary McCollum, Scott Moore, and Julian Moore; nieces, Kelsey Wright and husband Justin, Marcy Newburn and husband Rob, Kayleigh Wallace, Abigail McCollum, Zaydee Lay, Chloe Snelling and Cerra Moore; great-nieces, Indigo Belle Wright, Charlie Rain Newburn, Rylyn River Newburn; father-in-law, Kent Weldon Dalrymple and wife Shawn; and mother-in-law, Donna Gail Lozano and husband John; grandparents-in-law, Mark Dalrymple and wife Sharron, and Richard Vaughn and wife Pearl; and numerous extended family and friends. Moya would like to extend a special thanks to Shay Schneberger, Angie Jourdan, Amanda Crook, Wynter Kipgen, Najwa Baugh, Julye Eaton, and Liz Hemme, all of whose support meant the world to her.
Moya was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Moya "Mary" Payne and husband Jim, Bess Creech Magnuson and husband Sam, and Mae Ellen Dalrymple; uncles, James and John Payne, and Pat Wray; and aunts, Maureen Erwin Grant, and Sonjia Lowry.
Services will be Tuesday, June 13, 10:00am at St. Eugenes Catholic Church and Tuesday, June 13, 1:30pm at Bethany Nazarene Church with interment in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to establish a memorial fund at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School, her alma mater.
