Mitchell 'Mickey' Hood was born May 22, 1959 to Dewayne and Carolyn Hood. He went to his heavenly home September 16, 2008 due to a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his parents, brothers Mark Hood and wife Sandra, Mike Hood and wife Roberta; son Chad Hood; daughter Amanda Hood; step-daughter Christa Estell; nephew Christopher Hood; devoted aunts, uncle, numerous cousins and friends. He was a longtime employee of Hoidale Co. - a company who showed unprecedented love and compassion during his illness. Mickey loved playing golf, riding his Harley, working in his yard and watching old TV shows. His children were his most important passion in life. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Oklahoma County for their assistance. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in his name to the Red Cross hurricane disaster fund. Services will be Friday, September 19, 10:00 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
