Minnie Lee Robinson Baker of Oklahoma City was born November 7, 1931 in Lone Chimney, OK to Keller Gibbs and Iva Della (Fowler) Robinson. She died June 23, 2015. Lee worked in multiple fields over her career, but her passion was teaching children. She was a long-time member of Crestwood Baptist Church where she taught kindergarten Sunday School for more than 40 years, as well as many other children's activities, and more recently a member of Village Baptist Church. Lee married her high school sweetheart, William Robert Baker, on May 7, 1952, and they enjoyed life together for 62 years. Lee was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by two sisters, Wilma Payne of Oklahoma City and Dora Stewart of Tuttle, and her children, Randy and Linda Baker of San Diego, Steve and Cheryl Baker of Edmond, Maria and Greg Wilson, Russel and Erin Baker, and Gina and Randy Graham of Oklahoma City. Her pride and joy were her 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 26, at 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Funeral Chapel, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany. Viewing and family visitation will be Thursday, 6:00-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made through Right Hand Ministries for the HOPE Children's Home in India.
