Mildred McEver went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 11, 2021. She loved Jesus, Ray McEver, her family, friends, and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. A graduate of Midwest City High School, she married Ray and was blessed with Rick, Rob, and Jeannie. She returned to school and pursued a career in Education, where she was a teacher, principal and later supervised undergraduate education majors at UCO. She and Ray loved to square dance and travel. Her children were her pride and joy. She loved both Easter and Christmas. Christmas wasnt complete without a full stocking for everyone present and Easter always included egg hunts, even for the adults. Her grandchildren will always remember summers spent at the lake, baking for the state fair, and sewing upstairs. She was blessed to know her great-grandchildren, whom she wished she could hug every single day. She was a long-time member of Council Road Baptist Church, where she faithfully served the Lord, sang in the Choir, served the homeless at Will Rogers Park and had the joy of going on several mission trips. Millie loved the relationship she had with her sister, Judy. She enjoyed living at Hefner Mansions where she and her friends played games almost every night. She joyfully joined her beloved husband Ray in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jessie; her brother, Robert; her sisters, Lorene, Audrey, and Helen; her son, Rick and his wife Michele McEver; and son-in-law, Mark Massay. She will be missed by her children: Rob and Jan McEver, Jeannie Massay, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Monday, November 15, 2021 from 9am-8pm with family present from 3-5pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Service will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Council Road Baptist Church with interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
