Mildred Evelyn Dane, 91, passed away May 12, 2010. She was born September 27, 1918 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma to William and Ida (Costly) Austin. A 1945 graduate of OBU, she graduated cum laude with a BA in Religious Education. She married J.P. Dane, November 17, 1939, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is survived by her husband J.P.; daughter Linda Crafton and husband Charles, OKC; son Austin Dane, CA; sisters Alma Moser and Ann Rogers; grandchildren Sherry, John, Kyle and Kimberley; great-grandchildren Zach, Chase, Jordan, Ross, Eden and Barry Gage; and 1 great-great-grandchild, Erin. Viewing will be Friday, 8am-9pm with the family receiving guests from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Saturday, May 15, 2:00pm at Portland Avenue Baptist Church with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Portland Avenue Baptist Church.
