Mildred Evelyn Bishop, 94, died August 25, 2018. She was born May 9, 1924 in Cement, OK to Wesley and Eva (Wood) Bailey. She was a longtime member of Council Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband in their younger years, but her greatest joy was spending time with and caring for her family. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survivors include her husband, Howard; sons, Gary and wife Sue, Phil and wife Joyce; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members and friends. Viewing will be Thursday, 2pm-9pm, with family present from 6:30-8:30pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, August 31, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
