Michael Lee (Mike) Penny was born on September 27, 1954 to James R. and Helen Lee Penny and passed away on September 26, 2021. Mike had a love for music and high-end audio equipment. He began his career doing what he loved, working in retail sales. Mike never knew a stranger and would help anyone he met any way he could. At the time of his death, he was VP of Marketing Pros Inc. Mike was a longtime member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and was a strong Christian who loved his church and reaching out to others to spread his love for Christ. He also enjoyed woodworking, golf, college football, and being with his family. He loved people and made friends easily. He was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mike is survived by his sister, Jimmie and her husband Hardy Sears; one aunt, Margaret Swanson; several cousins and, as he called them "his kids", Rob & Betsy, Jay & Gwen, Kevin & Jenn, Ian, Ashlyn, Logan, Ella, Kira, & Casen Sears. Mike is at Mercer-Adams for informal visitation and viewing from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 8140 NW 36th, Bethany, OK. A graveside service will follow immediately after at Memorial Park Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in Mike's memory, the family suggests St. Mark's United Methodist Church. .
