Mike Miller, 58, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 7, 2017, from heart failure. Mike graduated from Putnam City in 1977 and recently attended his 40th high school reunion. Mike was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Mike was adored by all those that knew him. Mike's life ...."Do unto others as you would have them do for you." Mike was a caring, compassionate man of character. He never met strangers, just new friends. Mike lived a life of meeting people....bartender, insurance agent, real estate agent and property manager. He served God by working with kids in a program called Whiz Kids, helping with City Care endeavors such as the Pershing House, feeding the less fortunate and working countless hours serving the wonderful people that helped in the Murrah Building bombing. Mike helped in the care of his mother, Rose, during her journey with Alzheimer's. Mike loved to cook and grill on his beloved patio, sharing wonderful meals with family and close friends. Mike was an OU fan through and through. He was a talented carpenter and "Mr. Fix-It" just like his father, Don. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Dundore, father, Donald Miller, and step-mother, Jeanette Miller. Mike is survived by his two beloved sisters, Cynthia Miller Adams of Oklahoma City, OK and Jamie Miller Zimmerman of Flower Mound, TX. Also by his brother-in-laws, Robert Adams and Joe Zimmerman, his nieces, Kristen Adams and Madeline Zimmerman, his nephews, Robby Adams and wife, Riann, Jackson, Reese and Cole Zimmerman, his great-nieces Jennifer and Jayce Fallon and great-nephews Anderson and Axton Adams. He is also survived by his aunt Jan Rosborough and husband Richard of Hendersonville, NC; John Cannon and wife Susie of Glendale, AZ; cousins Suzan Simmons, JoLynn Flansburg, Pamela Adamson and Todd Ashcraft and all their beloved families, Steve and Deneen Adams and other extended family. Memorial services will be Saturday, September 16, 11:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel. Please join us after the service at Lumpy's Sports Grill, 12325 N. May Avenue, OKC, from 1-4pm.
