Obituary

Michael Carlton Hill passed away October 12 after struggling with cancer. He was born to Alan and Meg Hill. He attended Harding High School, where he had many friends he maintained throughout his life. He graduated from Oklahoma State University, pledged Phi Gam fraternity and stayed active as an alum and lifelong friend to the people he met there. He was active in the insurance industry before starting his own warranty business. His clients would tell you he served with integrity and loyalty. Mike loved golfing with his buddies, grilling for his family and friends, going to art shows with his wife, and cheering on his OSU cowboys. He was active in Metropolitan Baptist Church serving as a Sunday school president, deacon, then Sunday school superintendent. He studied with BSF ministries for seven years. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Jan, whom he met in kindergarten but was married to for only 17 short years. He is also survived by his brother, Steve and his wife, Sherry. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Graham Hill and wife Beth Ann; son, Alan Hill; also Elizabeth Holman and husband Ben and Garrett Allen and wife Emily. Mike was a devoted grandfather and adored his eight grandchildren: Watson, Emma, Mason, Sam, Joshua, Thomas, Felix, and Isaac. Mike treasured his family and friends and was loved by them in return. Since he never met a canine he didnt like, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the OKC Humane Society or the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 29th at 1:00pm at Metropolitan Baptist Church. Memorial Service Metropolitan Baptist Church Monday, October 29, 2018 1:00 PM 7201 W.
