Maxie "Max" John Patzack, 89, passed away May 4, 2026 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born April 22, 1937 in Oklahoma City to Emil and Emma (Rus) Patzack. He graduated from Putnam City High School in 1956. He married Linda Norton on November 15, 1975.
Max enjoyed a successful career in the Planning Division of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. A devoted member of Western Oaks Christian Church, he faithfully served as a greeter and cherished the fellowship of his church community. He was an enthusiastic fan of Oklahoma Sooners football and proudly held season tickets for many years. Max also honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army Reserve.
Max was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda; sister, Emmalee Williamson (Bob); nephews, Kenneth Ridings, Matthew Young (Susie), and Bryan Young (Kim); and niece, Sherri Bradford (William). He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 12 in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City. A reception will follow the graveside service at Western Oaks Christian Church, 8100 NW 23, Oklahoma City.
