Mary Frances West, 62, passed away December 5, 2008. She was born November 24, 1946 in Maryville, MO to Thomas and Frances Harmon West. Mary was a clown (a.k.a. Orange Blossum) for 12 years in CA. She moved to OK in 2002 and resurrected Orange Blossum and convinced her sister to become one too (a.k.a. Butterfly Lilly). They had a great time clowning around together. Mary worked for the University of Oklahoma as a Program Specialist for OK DHS. She was a registered family and marriage counselor. She was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and having a fun time. Mary loved to laugh. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas West. Survivors include her mother Frances West of Oklahoma City, OK; sister Nancy Collins and husband Jay of Edmond, OK; brother Tom West of Oklahoma City; nephew Jeremy Collins and wife Sarah of Windsor, CO; 2 uncles, James and Kenneth Harmon and their wives; and numerous cousins, too many to list. Marys wishes were that no flowers be sent. Instead, donations may be made to The Leukemia Foundation or the charity of your choice in her name. A service to celebrate Marys life will be held at 3:00 pm, Fri., Dec. 19, 2008 at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK.
